Vs Tr.K.MANICKAM [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for a further period of 6 months to complete the investigation and to file a final report as per the directions given by this Hon'ble High Court by its order dated 25.02.2021 made in Crl.O.P.No.3785 of 2021.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.A.GOPINATH, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) for the petitioner, and of M/S.B.MAHENDRA NAIDU, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 25.02.2021, this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on certain conditions and directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This petition has been filed by the respondent police seeking extension of time to file a final report .

2. Being satisfied with the reasons shown in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the prayer sought for by the respondent deserves to be considered favourably.

3. Accordingly, time is extended by a further period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the respondent to file a final report.
