ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble R.Subramanian J.) The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to pay the differential compensation as awarded by the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur, in references made under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

2. We do not think such a direction could be issued in an Appeal by the land owners seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded by the District Court. It is open to the petitioner to execute the award passed by the District Court, before a proper forum. Hence this petition is dismissed.
