Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to transfer the investigation in respect of F.I.R.No.1610 of 2012 registered B-4 Police Station, Race Course Road, Coimbatore dated 12.12.2012 relating to the death of petitioner's husband from Special Investigation Team, B-4 Police Station, Race Course Road, Coimbatore-18 to Central Bureau of Investigation.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1610 of 2012 to Central Bureau of Investigation.

The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1610 of 2012. Now, almost seven years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the fourth respondent is directed to file final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order if not already filed. 3.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
