ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to promote the petitioners to the post of Junior Grade Stenographer and Senior Assistant in the said Corporation. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners were appointed as Junior Assistants in the office of Puducherry Road Transport Corporation Limited. Though they are eligible for promotion to the posts of Junior Grade Stenographer and Senior Assistant, they were not considered, but their juniors, who have not possessed the requisite qualification, were promoted. The learned counsel further submitted that there are discrepancies in the seniority list publised by the respondent on 01.03.2014. petitioners have come up with this writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3.On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that there was no representation received from the petitioners and if any representation pointing out the discripencies is made, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioners to file a fresh representation raising all the issues connected thereto within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On filing of such representation, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks, thereafter.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
