Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorari to call for the records in I.D.No.78 of 2009 on the file of the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour court at First Floor B Wing No.26 Haddows Road Shastri Bhavan Chennai-6 the first respondent herein quash the award dated 10.2.2012 passed therein and received by the petitioner on 21.4.2012.

O R D E R

The Union raised a dispute under Section 2 (K) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cumLabour court at Chennai. It ended in an order in favour of the Union which had represented the workman, Mr.P.Meghanathan. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Pending the writ petition, Mr.P.Meghanathan passed away. Therefore, a settlement was arrived between Megannathan's wife i.e., Tmt.K.Indumathi and the writ petitioner.

3. This is the evidence by the order in proceeding No.1375/P&A/Court 2/4

case/2023 dated 08.02.2023.

4. In the light of the evidence and settlement arrived between the legal representative of the deceased Thiru.P.Megannathan and the writ petitioner, this court is of the view that nothing further survives in this writ petition for adjudication.
