Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct the Ponnar Shankar @ Arulmighu Sri Arukkani, Annanmarswamigal epic history as Therukoothu (folk drama) as part of the Ponnar Shankar Temple @ Arulmighu Sri Arukkani, Annanmarswamigal Temple in the premises of Jameen Ilampalli Village and Post, Paramathy Velur Taluk, Namakkal District scheduled to be held on 01.10.2014 to 31.10.2014 daily at 08.00 P.M. to 10.00 P.M.
