O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 24.05.2018 for the grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit in respect of vehicle number - TN-02/AM-9475 forthwith.

2.The learned counsel appearing for petitioner has stated that the petitioner has purchased a Maxi Cab bearing Reg.No.TN20/AM-9475 and applied for Contract Carriage Maxi Cab permit before the respondent in the prescribed format with prescribed fees on 24.05.2018. The respondent having received the application on 28.05.2018, till date has not come forward to consider the application for grant of the Contract Carriage Maxi Cab permit to the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that the respondent will consider and pass orders on the Application submitted with prescribed fees within a week's time.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the Application submitted by the petitioner on 24.05.2018, with prescribed fees, for Contract Carriage Maxi Cab permit, forthwith. No costs.
