By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks a direction to the passport authority, the respondent herein to expedite the process of her renewal application which is pending with the authorities since 03.05.2023.

3.Mr.R.Subramanian, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent.

4.The respondent is now required to take a decision on it within a period of four (4) weeks from today.
