PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to send interview card to the petitioner pursuant to the interview conducted in Na.Ka.AA4/798/2013 dated 18.09.2014 passed by the 3rd respondent and thereby direct the respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the petitioner as Village Assistant in the office of the 3rd respondent.

ORDER

There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner herein seeks for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to send the interview card in the interview conducted on 18.09.2014. Apparently, the writ petition has been filed after the interview was conducted.

3. The respondents, in their counter affidavit, have stated that the petitioner had attended the interview, as per the schedule declared by the third respondent and he was not selected.

4. The limited prayer is only for issuance of an interview card. In view of the statement in the counter affidavit that the petitioner had attended the interview, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
