ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 04.06.2014 made by the petitioner to the respondent, seeking to survey the lands and carry out subdivisions in accordance with the boundaries shown in the sale deed dated 27.06.2007.

Heard Mr.T.E.Ekambaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner had paid requisite fees to the respondent to survey the land and to carry out the sub-divisions in accordance with the boundaries shown in the sale deed dated 27.06.2007. Even then the respondent did not engage any surveyor to survey the petitioner's land.

Considering the above, the first respondent is directed to engage the surveyor to survey the petitioner's land as requested by him within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the concerned surveyor is directed to survey the petitioner's land after issuance of notice to the parties concerned if any. 5.
