ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 29.01.2014 made by the petitioner, regarding transfer of patta in her name. 2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been residing at Perumal Koil Street, Kangeyam Village, Villupuram Taluk and District. By virtue of Settlement Deed dated 09.05.1925, the petitioner's father-in-law was in possession and enjoyment of the above landed property and after his life time, her husband Bakthavatsalu inherited the property and was in possession and enjoyment of the said land. After the death of his husband on 09.11.1992, the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. Since no patta has been issued in her name, she has submitted a representation dated 29.01.2014 to the respondents herein for transfer of patta.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought four weeks time to consider the pending representation.

4.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation along with the copy of this order, Settlement Deed and other necessary documents to the Tahsildar, Villupuram, the second respondent herein within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such representation along with the copy of this order is being made, the second respondent shall consider the same for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner within four weeks thereafter. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
