ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property based on the representation made by the petitioner on 06.02.2024. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents based on the written instructions received from the 4th respondent submitted that one Ellammal filed WP.No.27374 of 2024 and in that writ petition, the petitioner was added as the 4th respondent. The writ petition was filed for a direction to the District Collector to deal with the representation and pass orders. The Division Bench of this Court disposed of the writ petition by an order dated 23.09.2024.

Pursuant to the said order, the enquiry is now pending before the District Collector, Salem. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representation made by the petitioner will also be dealt with by the District Collector, Salem since the enquiry is conducted by the District Collector in compliance with the order of the Division Bench.

4.In the light of the above discussion, the representation made by the petitioner on 06.02.2024 shall be considered by the 2nd respondent viz., the District Collector, Salem and it shall be made part of the enquiry that is now being conducted pursuant to the order passed by the Division Bench in WP.No.27374 of 2024, dated 23.09.2025.
