2. Heard both sides. Perused the materials on record.
3. It is seen that the petitioners after completing their 10th standard in the year 2005, 2003, 2004 respectively, joined three years Diploma Course in Electronics and Communication Engineering and passed in the year 2008 and thereafter, joined Engineering Course as a lateral entry and passed the same in the year 2011 and also awarded with Degree certificate by Anna University. It is also seen that the petitioner in W.P.No.23815 of 2016 had completed his law degree also during the academic years 2013-2016. Now, the petitioners wants to pursue M.A. in Political Science which were denied for the reason that, after passing the 10th standard they did not undergo +2 course, but they have completed 3 years diploma course which is said to be not equivalent to higher secondary course. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a mandamus to the respondents to admit him in the first respondent college to pursue M.A. Political Science course.
4. On 22.07.2016, this Court, in all these Writ Petitions has given an interim direction to the respondents to consider the request of the petitioners for admission to M.A. Political Science Course, in the first respondent College, if the filled up application and other testimonials were otherwise in order.
5. It is now stated that, the petitioners have already got admission and joined in the 1st respondent college.
6. In view of the above, since the prayer sought for in these Writ Petitions is already satisfied, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs.
