ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 18.07.2022, 26.08.2022, 20.03.2023 and 03.05.2023, requesting the 2nd respondent to send necessary proposals to the first respondent for issuance of orders appointing the petitioner as Designate Professor with effect from 01.03.2021, the date on which the Government Medical College Hospital, Krishnagiri started functioning or from 03.11.2021.
2. The facts of the present case is that the writ petitioner joined the Tamil Nadu Government Medical Service on 09.04.1990 and now working as Chief Civil Surgeon till date. He has put in 18 years of service and as per the Government Order in G.O.(D).No.1109, Health and Family Welfare Department dated 04.10.2021, he is entitled to become a Designate Professor. Since, the second respondent has not sent the proposals to the first respondent, the petitioner has made representations dated 18.07.2022, 26.08.2022, 20.03.2023 and 03.05.2023, requesting the 2nd respondent to send necessary proposals to the first respondent for issuance of orders appointing the petitioner as Designate Professor, which are pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

Considering the limited relief as sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
