ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to permit the petitioner to the post of Associate Professor in Neuro Surgery in the existing vacancies in operation of the panel for the year 2013-14 as notified as per G.O.(D).No.1164 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 25.10.2013 based on his seniority in the panel, with all consequential and other attendant benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the claim of the petitioner has been granted by the second respondent and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
