2.The petitioner has preferred an appeal to the 1st respondent challenging an assessment made by the 3rd respondent, by which the 3rd respondent has slapped a penalty of Rs.3,61,350/- for theft of electricity. He seeks a 2/4

direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal expeditiously. 3.Mr.V.Venkataseshaya, the learned counsel takes notice for the respondents.

4.The 1st respondent is now required to dispose of the appeal by completing the enquiry within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today. 5.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
