Respondent Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the Respondent for her willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 22.09.2017 made in Crl.O.P.No.20248 of 2017. For Petitioner :

By an order dated 22.09.2017, this Court had directed the respondent police to file a charge sheet in Cr.No.1930 of 2015 within a stipulated time.

For non failure of filing of the charge sheet, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Today when the matter was called, Ms.Sudha Sekar, learned counsel representing the petitioner's counsel submitted that the accused and the de-facto complainant have amicably compromised the issue among themselves and therefore they have no intention to proceed with the Contempt Petition.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the Contempt Petition need not be adjudicated any further.
