Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to survey the properties, which is situated in Survey No.254/Al to the total extent of 975 and 868 sq.ft., respectively which is situated at Vijayapuram Street, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District based on the representation of the petitioners dated 23.05.2024 with aid of the fourth respondent police. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the third respondent to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioners land comprised in Survey No.254/Al measuring an extent of 975 and 868 sq.ft., situated at Vijayapuram Street, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District, by considering the petitioners representation dated 23.05.2024. 2/5

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the fourth respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioners is that they have given representation dated 23.05.2024 to survey the property and demarcate its boundaries in Survey No.254/Al situated at Vijayapuram Street, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, they seek a direction. 5.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 23.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
