Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondents to forthwith re-convey the land of the petitioner measuring 2.72 cents in S.No.691/1 at Thirumulaivoyal Village, Avadi Municipality, Thiruvallur District, in favour of the petitioner as per the provisions of Section 48-B of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition praying to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondents to forthwith re-convey the land of the petitioner measuring 2.72 cents in S.No.691/1 at Thirumulaivoyal Village, Avadi Municipality, Thiruvallur District, in favour of the petitioner as per the provisions of Section 48-B of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made his representation on 03.11.2005 to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents. So far, no order has been passed by the first respondent. The petitioner had preferred a Writ Petition in W.P.No.46562 of 2006, this Court by an order dated 01.12.2006, had directed the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Till date, the respondents have not complied the above said order. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader undertakes before this Court that the first respondent will comply the order of this Court dated 01.12.2006 in W.P.No.46562 of 2006, within the time limit prescribed by this Court. 4.By recording the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader and in the light of the Order dated 01.12.2006 in W.P.No.46562 of 2006, this Court has directed the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 03.11.2005, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
