Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to survey the property in respect of S.Nos.150/5, 150/3B, and 150/6B to the extent of 1.34 acres in Vellaiyur Village, Gengavalli Taluk (now Thalaivasal Taluk), Salem District based on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2023 with aid of the second respondent Police. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos.150/5, 150/3B, and 150/6B measuring an extent of 1.34 acres, situated at Vellaiyur Village, Gengavalli Taluk (now Thalaivasal Taluk), Salem District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2023. 3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given representation dated 12.07.2023 to survey the property and demarcate its boundaries in Survey Nos.150/5, 150/3B, and 150/6B situated at Vellaiyur Village, Gengavalli Taluk (now Thalaivasal Taluk), Salem District. 2/4
However, the same has not been considered by the first respondent. Hence, he seeks a direction.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
