ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the 4th & 5th respondents.

The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the 4th and 5th respondents, who acted in favour of the 6th & 7th respondents in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the 6th & 7th respondents. Now, almost five years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the 4th and 5th respondents were transfered to some other police stations. Therefore, this Writ Petition is devoid of merits.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
