This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 132 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Mr.J.Chandran, learned counsel undertakes to file vakalat on behalf of the 2nd respondent / Insurance Company and he has not raised any serious objection for allowing this petition.

4. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed.

However, it is made clear that the appellant is not entitled for any interest for the delay period if at all the compensation is going to be enhanced by this Court in the main C.M.A.

5. Registry is directed to number the appeal if it is otherwise in order and print the name of Mr.J.Chandran as learned counsel for the 2nd respondent on the next hearing date.

6. Post the appeal for admission on 08.10.2021.
