This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.276 of 2024 and to file a final report U/s.173(2) of Cr.P.C before the Jurisdictional Court.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein F.I.R in Crime No.276 of 2024 was registered on 01.07.2024 for the alleged offences under Section 403 IPC against the accused persons. He further submitted that investigation is under progress and hence, he prays time to file the final report.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/Police to expedite the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
