... Respondents in both W.Ps Common Prayer: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to allot and place the petitioners in any High/Higher Secondary School under the control of the 2nd respondent viz.

The Director of School Education by implementing G.O.Ms. No.86 (I.D) dated 2.3.2011 within the period fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Today, when these matters were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that during the pendency of these writ petitions, the claim of the petitioners has been granted and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, these writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
