ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner claims that she is the second wife of a certain Ameer Jan and she is seeking to obtain the terminal benefits of Ameer Jan, along with other heirs. The legal heir certificate has been issued to the other heirs and she requires that her name be included therein. Therefore, she has approached the respondent to obtain a legal heir certificate. However, this has been rejected vide the impugned proceedings of the respondent.

3.Mr.C.Kathiravan, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent who informs the Court that the impugned order can be challenged by filing an appeal before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer. 2/4

4.In view of the above statement, the petitioner is now required to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned, challenging the impugned proceedings.
