O R D E R

(Made by Dr. G. JAYACHANDRAN,J.) The petitioner herein has given a representation dated 20.05.2026 to the District Collector to furnish certain revenue documents to establish his case of encroachment of public property by private persons. On a perusal of the representation and the prayer in the writ petition, we find that the documents sought by the petitioner relate to the Revenue Department and the proper custodian of the documents is the jurisdictional Tahsildar. Further, we also find that the description of the documents require more specification. Since the request is made to a wrong authority with defective details, we are not in a position to issue mandamus as sought. Hence, we dismiss the writ petition. 3.

The petitioner shall approach the jurisdictional Tahsildar for the necessary particulars and can obtain them on payment of fee prescribed. No costs.
