PRAYER: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 4th respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2023. ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that his anxiety to take P.G. final year exam is in peril since the 4th respondent college makes a unconscionable demand for Rs.16 lakhs without any legal basis. Hence to reconsider the same the petitioner has filed a representation and wants a direction from this Court for the 4th respondent to consider the same. 3.Mr.S.Ramachandran, the learned counsel enters appearance for 4th respondent and makes a statement on instructions that the college has not 2/4

made any such fantastic claim as alleged by the petitioner and all that he is required to pay is Rs.78,000/-.

4.Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions readily agrees to pay Rs.78,000/- which is due and payable by the petitioner to the 4th respondent. 5.In view of the same, this Court now directs the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.78,000/- (Seventy Eight Thousand only) to the 4th respondent college on or before 14.07.2023, upon which, the 4th respondent is required to issue necessary hall ticket to enable the petitioner to take his exam. 6.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
