ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) The petitioner herein filed W.P.No.19363 of 2026 directing the authorities to take action on his representation against the fourth respondent school.
2.According to him, the fourth respondent is compulsorily collecting a sum of Rs.7000/- per term towards breakfast.
3.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that proceeding dated 15.04.2026 had been issued by the District Educational Officer directing closure of the School. Recording the said submission, the writ petition was disposed of. To recall the said order, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the school is still functioning and that the writ petition was disposed of on the impression that the school had been closed.
5.In such view of the matter, the order dated 13.05.2026 stands recalled and the writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the writ petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2026 as per law. It is needless to state that first respondent will pass an order after hearing the fourth respondent also. We have not gone into the merits of the matter. This exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Likewise, we have not made any comment or remark on the closure order dated 15.04.2026 passed by the Jurisdictional District Educational Officer. It is open to the authorities to take action as per law.
