ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.298 of 2017 on the file of respondent police and quash the same.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and charge sheet dated 03.05.2018 has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Udumalpet and the same was not taken on file.

In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the F.I.R at this stage. It is left open to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Udumalpet to take the final report on file in Crime No.298 of 2017 and proceed further in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
