ORDER

The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.171 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Cr.No.171/2013, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tindivanam and the same was taken on file as CC No.61 of 2014. Subsequently, the said CC was challenged by the petitioners before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.16199 of 2014, which was, after hearing both sides and upon perusal of the records, allowed and the criminal prosecution was quashed, vide order dated 24.07.2014.

3. Recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
