The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to release the Maruthi Swift ZXI Car bearing Registration No.TN-66-E-3435 seized by the 2nd respondent on 21.09.2013 to the petitioner.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
