ORDER

The writ petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to number and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 17.02.2014 as expeditiously as possible.

2.The matter relates to transfer of patta. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that, aggrieved by the order of the Tahsildar, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the third respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer and the same was dismissed. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the second respondent on 17.02.2014 and it is stated that the appeal is pending.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that he has no objection to issue direction to the District Revenue Officer to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 17.02.2014.

4.Without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Court direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 17.02.2014 in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner. This exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
