The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to consider the request applications of the petitioners for transfer to the Noon Meal Centres as requested by them in the light of the orders issued by the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Chennai-5 in Na.Ka.No.11869/09/Sa.U.Thi (Ni) 1 dated 04.01.2010.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. He also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
