This contempt petition has been filed consequent to an order of this Court dated 06.03.2024 in W.P. No. 17378 of 2020. 2.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents has produced a copy of the proceedings in Government (Ms) No.256, School Education (Pa.Ka.1(1)) Department, dated 02.12.2024 stating that as per the direction of the Court dated 06.03.2024, the petitioner has been promoted to the post of District Educational Officer by proceedings dated 02.12.2024 in Na.Ka.No.52531/A1/E1/2020. The order has also been placed on record.
