The writ petitioner seeks issuance of passport. The application was submitted wayback in December 2025. Since police verification is yet to be completed, passport has not been issued. Since more than six months had elapsed, this writ petition came to be filed. 3.

I direct the second respondent to submit the verification report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based on the same, the first respondent will take a call within a period of four weeks thereafter.
