Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the impugned order in murhiz (gj;jhz;L) vz;/113. tPl;Ltrjp kw;Wk; efh;g;g[w tsh;r;rpj; (tPt(1) Jiw. ehs; 07/07/2014. passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and further direct the respondents to grant the notional promotion to the petitioner upto the post of Superintending Engineer as the persons include in the panel dated 05.08.2009 were promoted thereby grant all the service benefits.

ORDER

It is noticed that on the previous occasion, when the case came up for hearing on 19.02.2025, a request was made by the learned counsel for the petitioner for adjourning the case by two weeks. Thus, the case was listed on 05.03.2025. On 05.03.2025, the case was not taken up for hearing due to shortage of time and thereafter was listed on 10.03.2025. When the case was taken up for hearing on 10.03.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the case was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal" on 14.03.2025. 2/5

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner is present. The learned counsel for the petitioner is unprepared and he is not ready to get along with the case. Therefore, it is clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence, this Court has no other option but to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution

3. In the result, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
