ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.3946 of 2025 dated 16.04.2025, passed by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner was arrested on 09.02.2022 and he moved bail application in Crl.O.P.No.3946 of 2025 and the same was allowed on 16.04.2025 by this Court with one of the condition as stated below:

"6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Fifteen Thousand Only) with two sureties (One blood relative and one local surety), each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned st Additional Special Court Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Cases NDPS Act, Chennai ....."

However, the petitioner was unable to arrange the blood surety and now the petitioner is seeking for modification of the above condition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by this Court in para No.6 in Crl.OP.No.3946 of 2025 dated 16.04.2025, is modified to the effect that the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Fifteen Thousand Only) with two sureties (out of which, one surety must be a blood relative of petitioner's wife), each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned 1 st Additional Special Court Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Cases NDPS Act, Chennai.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
