ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner in the post of Typist-cum-Junior Assistant and pay all consequential benefits by considering her representation dated 10.03.2014.

According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner was appointed as Typist - cum - Junior Assistant in the Social Welfare Department, Office of the District Planning, Combined Children Welfare Scheme, Perambalur District on 13.09.2000. Though she acquired the required eligibility, her service was not regularised, which compelled https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

her to make a request for the same through proper channel. On receipt of the same, the second respondent forwarded the said request to the first respondent by communication No.Na.Ka.50549/Nir.4.3/2000, dated 31.01.2005. However, the first respondent did not consider the request of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 10.03.2014 to the first respondent seeking to regularise her service. Finding no response on the same, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid relief.

3. On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner, if it is pending, and pass orders on merits, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and having regard the submissions made by the learned counsels on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2014, if not already considered and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and also on the basis of the recommendations sent by the second respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
