J.

The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 8 (c) and 20 (b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.113 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is falsely implicated in this case and he is in judicial custody from 16.05.2023. Thus, he seeks bail for the petitioner.

3. In response, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that petitioner was found in possession of 2 Kgs of Ganja on 16.05.2023 at 8.45 a.m. near Selva Perumal Temple. Based on her confession, second accused was arrested with 300 grams of Ganja. Petitioner has two previous cases of similar nature pending against her. He further submitted that investigation in this case is not completed and opposed this bail petition.

4.Considering the nature of the offences and the fact that petitioner has two similar cases filed against her and one ended in acquittal and one is still pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 11.07.2023 sli
