ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioners seeking modification of the condition imposed by this Court by order dated 23.04.2025, in para No.6, in Crl.O.P.No.10588 of 2025.

2. The petitioners was arrested in Crime No.164 of 2025 and this Court by order dated 23.04.2025 granted bail to the petitioners with one of the condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand

Only) with two sureties, one being a blood relative surety and the other a local surety, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Special Court under NDPS & EC, Chennai.

3. The contention of the petitioners is that the petitioners hails from the state of Andhra Pradesh and neither they have blood relative nor they have known person in Chennai and they were not able to execute sureties, though they have been granted bail by this Court on 17.03.2025 and that they are suffering incarceration and seeks for modification of the aforementioned condition.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed for modification of the aforesaid condition and submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed, charge sheet has been filed and the same is yet to be taken on file.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and the

submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and the condition imposed in para No.6, in Crl.O.P.No.10588 of 2025 is modified to the effect that the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on their executing a bond for Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Special Court under NDPS & EC Act, Chennai. Further para No.6(b) is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall appear before the learned Principal Special Court under NDPS & EC Act, Chennai on every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m, till the charge sheet is taken on file and thereafter, on all hearing dates without fail. All the other conditions remains, unaltered.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 04-07-2025 Jai To 1.The Inspector of Police Chintadaripet Police Station, Chennai.
