Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned counsel appearing for the contesting respondent i.e., the Block Development Officer, says that nothing survives in the prayer for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and initiate proceedings under Section 206 (11) of the Tamilnadu Panchayats Act, 1994 and consequently, remove the 4th respondent from the post of Panchayat President in-charge of Kavalakudi Village, Keerapalayam Panchayat Union, as the tenure of the 4th respondent has expired, pending writ petition.
