The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents TANGEDCO made a submission that on account of efflux of time, the respondents Board is not willing to proceed with the impugned tender and the files are closed in this regard.
2. In view of the said submission, no further adjudication is required with reference to the grounds raised in this Writ Petition. However, the respondents are at liberty to proceed further by issuing a fresh tender notification by following the procedures as contemplated in The Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998. It is needless to state that if the petitioner is otherwise eligible in the event of issuing any notification, he is also at liberty to submit the application in the manner known to law.
