..Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call the records relating to the impugned prospectus issued by the 2nd respondent dated 11.06.2018 and the quash the same in so far as clause 3(c) and clause 3(h) are concerned and consequently directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the selection for admission to MBBS/BDS course under State Quota in Tamil Nadu 2018-19 session based on merit in selection with reference to marks secured by the petitioner in National Entrance cum Eligibility Test - UG 2018.

This Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call the records relating to the impugned prospectus issued by the 2nd respondent dated 11.06.2018 and the quash the same in so far as clause 3(c) and clause 3(h) are concerned and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the selection for admission to MBBS/BDS course under State Quota in Tamil Nadu 2018-19 session based on merit in selection with reference to marks secured by the petitioner in National Entrance cum Eligibility Test - UG 2018.

2. The petitioner challenges the prospectus issued by the second respondent, which is made for the admission to the Academic year 2018-19, and consequential direction seeking permission to participate in the selection for admission to MBBS / BDS course under the State Quota in Tamil Nadu 2018-19. Since the admission process is over, there is no scope for entertaining the Writ petition, hence, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner's prayer may be considered for the next academic year.

4. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. However, liberty of the petitioner is preserved to file a Writ Petition next year. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
