This petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.1153 of 2017 registered by the first respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 353, 506(i) of IPC r/w 42 of Prison's Act, 1894 and Section 20(b)(ii)(A)NDPS Act, 1985 as against the petitioner.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that investigation has been completed and filed a final report and the case was taken on file in CC.No.134 of 2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram, Thiruvallur District. Therefore, the prayer sought for, in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.09.2022 Vv To 2/4
