Crl.R.C.No.1109 of 2022 Crl.R.C.No.1109 of 2022 P.VELMURUGAN.,J This Court vide order dated 08.09.2022, called for the report from the respondent police with regard to the status of the vehicle. From the report, it is found that neither the confiscation proceedings has been initiated nor the seized vehicle was produced before the concerned Court. The respondent police simply kept the vehicle in the police station. If the property is exposed to sunlight, air and rain, the worth of the property would be diminished.

2. Under these circumstances, this Court is directed the Inspector General of Police, Kancheepuram, to call for the explanation from the concerned Investigating Officer and to take action against him and file the action taken report before this Court on or before 19.10.2022.
