: Respondents in all Wps Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to fill up the vacancies as notified in the Notification dated 13.06.2012 in Notification No.19 (a) / 2012 for direct recruitment against the vacancies for the years 2011-12 and 2012 - 13 for the posts mentioned in table I & II of the notification by considering the candidates, who have been called for counselling relating to the selection for appointment to the non-interview post included in the Combined Subordinate Services Examination - I 2011-2013 and based on the written examination held on 04/11/2012.

COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to fill up the vacancies for the posts mentioned in table I & II of the notification No.19 (a) / 2012 dated 13.06.2012 by considering the candidates, who have been called for counseling relating to the selection for appointment to the non-interview post included in the Combined Subordinate Services Examination - I 2011-2013 and based on the written examination held on 04/11/2012.
2. Today, when these matters came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of these writ petitions, notification in question has been challenged by filing a batch of writ petitions and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
