ORDER

The prayer made in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to complete the enquiry and pass orders T.D.P.Case No,17/2012 based on the Enquiry Report within a stipulated period to be fixed by this Court.

2.Upon notice, the respondents filed a detailed counter affidavit, inter alia stating that though the petitioner attained the age of superannuation on 31.05.2015, he was not allowed to retire from service vide G.O.(D)No.670, Health and Family Welfare (K1) Department, dated 29.05.2015 as the enquiry into grave charges is pending against the petitioner and final order is yet to be passed by the competent authority. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. However, today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

4.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
