The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta for the suit hut comprised in Survey No.167/5 measuring 21 feet East to West and 24 feet South to North situated at
Arasampattu Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District by considering the petitioners' representation dated 05.06.2014.
2.It is the case of the petitioners that their representation dated 05.06.2014 for issuance of patta has not yet been considered by the 3rd respondent.
3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader and also taking into consideration the averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 05.06.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
