PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to call for the records relating to proceedings of the 2nd respondent vide No.Se.Po/Ea/PaVe/Umi A/Ka.Vi.Vi.Rathu/No.019/14 dated 01.03.2014 and quash the same consequently direct the respondents herein to give electricity service connection for agriculture purpose to the agriculture land of the petitioner in S.No.100, Kurumpala Mahadevi Village, Jedarpalayam, Namakkal District forthwith. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records relating to proceedings of the 2nd respondent vide No.Se.Po/Ea/PaVe/Umi A/Ka.Vi.Vi.Rathu/ No.019/14 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 01.03.2014 and quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to give electricity service connection for agriculture purpose to the agriculture land of the petitioner in S.No.100, Kurumpala Mahadevi Village, Jedarpalayam, Namakkal District forthwith.

2. The application submitted by the writ petitioner for providing agricultural electricity connection was canceled due to the fact that the petitioner during the relevant point of time did not came forward for the acceptance of the connection. Thus, the respondents issued an order impugned stating that the application as well as the request was cancelled. Already 6 1⁄2 years lapsed.

3. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application, if he is otherwise eligible in accordance with the provisions of the Act and Rules.

4. With these observations, the writ petition stand disposed of. No costs.
