The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that nothing survives for adjudication in the present Writ Petition. Apart from the said submission, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced records to show that the wife of the petitioner is receiving pensionary benefits consequent upon the demise of the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in the present Writ Petition. 2/4

2. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
